2012 SEASON OPENING FRIDAY, MAY 25TH Whew!!!

2012 has proven once again that Mother Nature is in charge at Millstone Creek Orchards.

After a very mild winter and an early warm spring, the mid-April freeze had us all nervous and worried. The fruits were either budding or blooming and a late freeze could be devastating to all. Thankfully, it seems the fruits have survived and we anticipate a good harvest this season.

The Apple Barn will open for the season on Friday, May 25th at 9am. Our UPick experience also will begin on opening weekend with delicious blueberries followed by blackberries a couple of weeks later. Summer vegetables have gotten an early jump and should harvest ahead of schedule. This year our vegetables include tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, beans, canteloupe, squash, okra & peppers. Remember to check out our "Fresh in the Apple Barn" section of the home page to see what is being harvested daily.

As we continue to grow to provide our loyal customers with a better experience at Millstone Creek, we have expanded the shopping area at the Apple Barn by moving our antique processing equiptment to the new covered back porch allowing easier viewing of the apple washing, sorting & polishing process.

The new expanded shopping area allows us to introduce many new canned products. Here are a few of the new items available: Pie Fillings - Blueberry, Blackberry and Cherry Vinaigrette Salad Dressings - Peach, Blueberry, Chipotle Apple Raspberry, F.R.O.G and Honey Mustard Conserves (Ice Cream Toppings) - Cherry Walnut, Peach Pecan & Amaretto and Pineapple Pecan
