Welcome to our Orchard seasonal hiring season! On this page, you will find a few details about our hiring process and learn about all the fun we have while we work. Our hiring for the upcoming fall 2025 season is now live and applications are open through Tuesday, July 29th. Explore all the details below and apply to join our team!

Obligations/Requirements :

  • Fall is the peak season at the Orchard, and we rely heavily on our dedicated team to provide guests with an unforgettable adventure. We work hard, and we love what we do. We expect our staff to bring their all on every shift.

  • Most positions require our staff to be able to handle outdoor conditions and fall heat.

  • All staffers must be at least 16 years old. Our Cider House Kitchen staff must be at least 18 years old and our bartenders must be 21.

We're a group of passionate people who believe in our products, love where we work, and love to have fun while we do it!  If this sounds like you, we'd love to have you on our team. Seasonal positions run from Mid-August through the beginning of November. We keep our top staffers on through December for our Christmas season.

Here are a few of the fun positions that our seasonal employees can enjoy! Everyone has unique strengths and we work to position you in a spot that we believe brings out your best qualities and suits your strengths.

Food Service

Granny’s Goodies is the home of our ice cream parlor and apple cider donuts! This is one of the most popular areas on the farm on weekends, and you’ll be surrounded by tasty treats and Orchard favorites all day.

Special Events/Tour Guides

Our fruit friends and tour guides are the experience creators! They add the excitement and energy to every orchard adventure as they lead guests through their u-pick experience and engage with them on fruit education, cider pressing, and u-pick guidelines.

Apple Barn Guest Support

Our guest support staff are the jack of all trades! They do a little bit of everything from scooping ice cream to restocking shelves to packing apples. These staffers help our operations run smoothly.

Cashiers

Every job at the Orchard has a special role, and our cashiers round out our guests’ adventure before they head home with forever memories. Prior cashier experience preferred.

Hayride Drivers

Our friendly hayride drivers transport guests to and from our u-pick areas, all while sharing smiles and keeping safety top of mind. Must be 21+ with prior tractor driving experience.

 

Facilities/Parking

Our behind the scenes staff makes everything look beautiful, keeping the grounds clean, emptying trash cans, as well as directing our guests to parking.

 

Bartenders

Our front of house team offers service with a smile, serves drinks, runs register, maintains a clean work environment, and helps keep the operation running smoothly. Prior bartending and cashier experience ideal - 21+ years old.

Line Cook

The Cider House Kitchen serves up high-quality, handcrafted food—fast and fresh. From chopping and stirring to frying, plating, and serving, every task should reflect skill, care, and a touch of fun. Prior kitchen experience preferred. Must be 18 or older.
